I live in Green Valley, but am interested in the growth of Sahuarita. As someone who is not yet retired and who has a teenage son, I have more in common with Sahuaritans than with most Green Vallians. I'll be interested to watch how this site grows.
Please come to Philosophy @ the Lake for a fascinating conversation on "Life and Purpose."

A little bit south of Sahuarita is an adorably funky little town known as Arivaca. On Saturday, April 29th Arivaca will host an independent film festival. Find out more at: http://www.arivaca.net/
these are amazing
When my son was one year old we moved to a new community. The moms group that I found to join was a life-saver. Out of that group we even formed a babysitting coop. Another lifesaver. I don't think I could have made it so easily through those early years with Chris if I'd not had the support of that group. Good luck with your new moms group and know that each day brings a new adventure when you have kids. :-)
Bravo for Richard! I can't wait to see the picture of his hair. I subscribe to the MBA rule in our house. MBA stands for "MINOR but Annoying". My son is 15 and the majority of the things that he does to make a statement are in my opinion MBAs. His unconventional haircut and dress, this music, the condition of his bedroom. these are things that at one time made for tension in the house. I now realize that they are all MBAs AND I realize that most kids who have messy rooms and strange haircuts don't turn our to be homeless street people. I've had to put it all into perspective. My son is polite, interesting, extroverted, and fun to be with. I can put up with the hair cut and I can shut his bedroom door. He goes to high school in Tucson at a school that accepts and honors the self expression of the teen years. I'm glad about that, and I'm so happy to read this blog from other parents who are dealing with this situation in a sane manor. :-)
Thanks for sharing your heart warming story. I'm glad that you're okay, and that both Misty's were your heros.
Fascinating! We've always talked about doing that drive. How long did you spend on the road?
I'm leading the discussion and I'm more interested in the philosophical side of the discussion. I personally fell that there is no separation between art and life and that life is art. So that's sort of where I'm going to take it. I hope that you'll stop by, it was a very good group last month. We discussed consumerism.
The sky looked like this again last Thursday night. Amazing.
I'm interested in joining this gym, too, and would like to hear about your experinece with it, Mona.
Adorable!
