We met the Lord Mayor of Williamsburg and a Virginia Senator at the dinner last night; they came to every Ambassador’s table and visited.

I learned something today – don’t judge VA. at night, don’t even fly into VA. at night. It’s totally great.

The air is as soft as the light and as comforting as the ready smiles; no wonder "Virginia is for Lovers".
Tough Call! You have to decide why you are doing this topic,what is left to do and if you are happy with the work done. When you are judged, it will always be subjective and out of your control. What you can control is your work and effort;if you have done your best, you have won. These are the life lessons I like best from NHD work.

Lisa, I saw the best of teachers, parents and students at this event – but your team was an outstanding group. You kept them busy, engaged, prepared but not sweating in a hall waiting for competition! Their week will be a memory for a lifetime and you engineered it. Winners All.

Richard, I am so proud of you. I asked Colin if he wanted to make a summer blockbuster or an independent film for NHD and he did what he wanted as well. That choice is what makes NHD so wonderful. I have always preferred the path, not the goal; your path has been very well defined and what an accomplishmnet for your age. I would love to see your work.
Colin is asleep in NYC, but he will appreciate and be jealous of your complete button collection - he is missing 4 states or 12 with duplicates. Keep checking for more pictures added to the Gallery.
Your blog was needed to show a more complete picture of NHD for our Region and the Tucson FAIR for educators on June 21st. Your memories will be archived here for a long time and hopefully, we'll hear more from you on next years effort.

No, but they're 1/2 price in Union Station after 8PM! Hey Andrew, Green Valley and Sierra Vista are blogging when they get home with pics and comments. The kids are just running and some don't have Internet access.
Chris, you are a treasure. We are resting our poor feet and watching Mythbusters! Colin will blog and then its get rested for tomorrows big events.
