The pizza chain delivered 40 of the pizzas and certificates for 60 more as part of a nationwide effort to honor everyday super heroes. Besides delivering Super Hero XL3 pizzas to Rural/Metro firefighters, the 11 Papa John’s Pizza restaurants delivered 126 of these special pizzas to super heroes at these local charities: Boys and Girls Clubs, Tucson Metropolitan YMCA, Ronald McDonald House, Casa De Los Ninos, Tucson Center For Women & Children, Big Brothers/ Big Sisters, Youth on Their Own, American Red Cross and Sunstone Cancer Care Center.
