I have been to 4 Dorado games this year and I think both the players you mention are phenom's but CDO's Tevis is just in another owrld as an all around football player and by far the best football player in all of AZ this year. Not to mention his 4.1 gpa.
I hope one of the Academies and preferably Ellerson's Black Knights could land him.If not he has Stanford written all over him.

TUSD didn't screw over Scurran. The foirmer principal at Santa Rita set him up for a fall. Allegedly, last year, Scurran was being paid as a Academic Compliance Officer when his coaching duties ended. Only problem is he didn't do any such work and allegedly the principal forged time sheets to justify the payments. Fast forward to this year. Said principal advised the Santa Rita Site Council he was hiring Scurran as the Dean of Students for Discipline paying him 40K per out of cellular tower rentals received by the school. Only hitch is nobody on the site council tholught it was a good idea so the district never approved the deal. Said principal has since been axed, Scurran has nothing in writing, and his decision not to return is strictly his.

#15, I was looking for that Mingus fan. Funny how he hasn't shown up since their butt whoopin' was handed out. I'm a PV fan, but definitely routing for the Eagles to take the trophy home.
To those talking about Scurran's departure, his position was cut last year when they cut all those positions. He's not tenured so he got cut. Right now he is not being paid anything. He coached for free this year. Props to him for that, but nobody can expect the man to continue to do that. I'm sure he has bills just like the rest of us. What program will he resurrect next? Probably not one in TUSD. Catalina Foothills? Hmmm, that could be interesting.

3 Tucson teams in 4A title games at UA Saturday Stadium
Arizona Stadium will transform into high school state championship headquarters Saturday afternoon. It is unusual to see two Tucson area teams play for a state title. Would love to see two of them come away with it.

I agree #4, is it too much to ask that the Star actually put the kick-off times in the article, or do we just show up sometime in the afternoon?

Congrats to all the Tucson in the finals! That is amazing!
Too bad TUSD has chosen to screw over Scurran.
Hopefully, he will go out on a high note.
GO SANTA RITA!

We need to keep both these guys in town to play for the Cats after they have great high school careers. Especially if they are going to a pac 10 team.
