The man who likes to be called America's toughest sheriff and the man who likes to be called America's toughest county attorney met mano-a-mano last weekend for what may well become an annual quick-draw contest.

Yay! Maybe he'll finally be able to take care of the immigration problem without being criticised by the immigration activists......or not

Joe Arpaio deserves the Nobel Peace Prize if elected, because if he is, he will clean out all illegals and AZ will finally have some peace--and this will show other border states the way to peace as well.
As for #5: I suspect you've taken too many paintball shots to the head already.

Morris, where is your proof that Hispanic people are being harrassed? You provided none. Being arrested and deported for being an illegal alien is called law enforcement, not harrassment. With the Feds reporting that over 90% of illegal aliens are Hispanic, what a surprise to discover that most of the arrested illegal aliens are Hispanic.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio endorsed Janet Napolitano for Governor. He does a bang-up job as Sheriff and I liked his book but I would probably vote for someone else as Governor. However, my little vote would no doubt be lost in a sea of pro Arpaio votes!

Of course Arpaio would win the Republican primary, but I doubt he could get enough support from moderates--including Republicans--to win the general election. The Dems went through this problem in the sixties and seventies, purging their party of all but the most extreme. Republicans are making the same mistake now.

Sheriff Joe is like a cross between Rhienhard Heydrich and Rosan Bar. Cold, calculating, yet fat and all squishy inside. All nice and soft and fuzzy and comfy inside. Joe is filled with a soft downy stuffing, but willing to crack some heads and get people in line. This mixture of hard and soft intrigues people. He's like a big old teddy bear inside all furry and warm, next restraining and medicating an inmate.

You know, if EVERY criminal(even the petty ones), EVERY cartel member, EVERY gangbanger, EVERY radical or violent fundamentalist, EVERY illegal alien (including their supporters), and EVERY do-nothing or corrupt politician on the planet were to suddenly and irrevocably disappear, life would be kinda pleasant for the people remaining!

I know I would definitely vote for him! We desperately need someone that understands the illegal immigrant problems here and is willing to do what is necessary to fix it. Joe seems to be the only person that is in place to make the changes that are required to get this job done.
I hope he does decide to run for govenor. If you read this Joe, this is our plea that you take the next step, taking your programs in Maricopa county and using them to improve the illegal immigration situation all over this state.
Go Joe!!

I would love to see Joe get elected as governor. It would send vibrations all the way to Washington DC. Arizona would be a much better place to live with Joe upholding the law and getting tough on the criminals who shouldbe either in jail or sent back to their own countries. Illegal aliens would run like ****roaches when the light comes on. Vore for Joe, pass it on.

Joe Arpaio belongs in prison as an inmate for all the times he has harassed Hispanic people for having brown skin!
And Joe Arpaio can't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside with the door closed, some Sheriff!

America hasn't seen political leadership like Joe Arpaio since the days of Huey Long.
