Police: 911 tapes of Tiger Woods' crash to be out Sunday

More than two dozen media and a cluster of television trucks camped outside the gates of Isleworth on Saturday waiting for authorities to visit with Tiger Woods and clear up questions about crashing his SUV into a neighbor’s tree.

domestic issue,... it happens.. bout five years is a good time to have an 'argument' staying married not always easy. that he was loaded enough to crash his car on exit from the house.. interesting. not alcohol.. could be another star with pain med addiction after some surgical procedure, his knee.. always difficult to break those types of habbits.

Now lets see if the types that crash Rush Limbaugh on his pain med addication do the same to Tiger with appearst to be a similar situation.. oh there will be some I'm sure.

God Speed Tiger, it'll work out, just take some time. Keep the faith.

Bill B. Wow! You must have read a different article than I did. Didn't authorities say that it was not believed that alcohol was a factor? Pain med addiction? Fight with the wife? You have quite an imagination. Maybe you should take up writing fiction.

It's easy to see why Tiger tries to keep his personal life out of the public eye. What a bunch of gossip hounds. I mean are people really thinking there's some kind of a conspiracy because there wasn't an immeadiate wire story about a minor one car collision that happened at 3:00am the morning after Thanksgiving?

TMZ? The National Enquire? Good lord people.

#3 and #7 - "Why doesn't the "media" just leave the guy alone? Private life is just that: private life."

Unfortunately, in this modern world, we have a "desperate" media willing to intrude on everything and evrybody just to sell a paper or get a viewer.

Both Palin and Woods, and anyone else for that matter, can choose which way to travel when they are driving down the freeway of life and they come to the fork in the road. The sign for one directions says "Fame and Fortune" the other says "Peace and Quiet".

#12 Sweet Pete .. "media" these days insults the word. They are a bunch of greedy vultures who will distort to (as you say "sell a paper."

I don't know that either Woods or Palin set out to achieve "Fame and Fortune" - - - Woods has a terrific talent which caused his fame, is he to be penalized for that?

I had never heard of Palin before McCain set her up to get votes for HIM .. she was used then distorted and crucified. As far as I've ever known she was serving Alaska as an adequate governor with no complaints from anyone there. Then falling for McCain's diatribe about bettering the country, she became buzzard fodder.

Have you ever made a wrong decision, Pete?

#2 Bruno is probably right. Tiger has difficulty sleeping and probably takes one of the new sleeping pills, Ambien, Lunesta, or another of the type. They can cause sleep behavior that includes cooking and binging while sleep walking, even sleep-driving. Look it up. Some of the stories are funny, but not if it is you it happens to. This would account for Tiger driving that way at that time of night. Why else would he have that type of collision?

#12 and we have people eager to read all about it -- every notice the mags at the check out counters or in the beauty shops?
I don't know most of these so-called "celebrities" (since I don't watch much TV) and care a heck of a lot less about them.
The eager beavers are those who happen to be home during Oprah. How does that happen?

I'm guessing he had a violent argument with his wife, perhaps regarding the rumored affair, and he left in a huff, so blinded by red rage that he doesn't see the hydrant or tree, especially at that hour...the broken window can be interpreted either as a rescue attempt or the wife's attempt to get at her philanderer with a tire iron...there's something fishy, telling the police no.

Until we hear from Tiger, it's all nonsense, media speculation, rumor, etc. etc. etc. But I must say, he needs to meet with the police and speak up, or the rumors and gossip will continue. Nothing to hide, why all the time to create a response and story. Come on Tiger, tell us all, what happened! Luv ya!

"Tiger" doesn't deserve anymore privacy than any other person of interest in this country. He makes millions of dollars swinging a stick and hitting a ball or endorsing a plethora of products, all due to public interest in him. If "Tiger" doesn't like the intertest in him when he's out at 2 am drunk driving, then he should retire and get out of the public eye rather than being on every other commercial and being on TV for golf tourneys.

Tiger Woods is not above the law. However, he is being treated as such by FHP and in reality is obstructing a police investigation. Anyone else would be arrested and charged.
There is another side of this story that needs to be viewed; if in fact that Mr. and Mrs. Woods are having a domestic relations difficulty, there needs to be the protection of the children so that the violence does not injure one or both of their children.
It is evident that the Woods are hiding something and he is no better than anyone else is.
Tiger Woods is involved in an investigation and he needs to step-forward and conduct himself as an adult and quit hiding behind the iron curtain of his fortress.
Leave Tiger Woods alone?
NO...he needs to prove to the police that he was not under the influence of any substance and or he is mentally and physcially competent to drive a vehicle for the safety of himself, his children and those of Florida and anywhere else he drives.
Until then, he is hiding like a weasel.
