Sounds like something medical may have happened before he had the accident. You wouldn't expect a guy in such great health to have a stroke or a burst aneurysm, but you never know.

They say he was "seriously" injured. HYpe Hype HYpe!
(CNN) -- Golfer Tiger Woods was taken to a Florida hospital after suffering serious injuries in a car crash early Friday, officials said.
The one-car accident occurred about 2:25 a.m. near his home in Windermere, a suburb of Orlando, according to an incident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Woods, 33, had just pulled out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac SUV and had begun to drive down a street when he struck a fire hydrant, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The front of his vehicle then struck a tree.
Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn told CNN that local police arrived within two minutes of being notified. The golfer was taken to Health Central Hospital, where he was treated for facial lacerations and released, Bruhn said."
The guy goes in for a few hours and released and they say he was seriously injured. Stupid media.

Seriously injured? I was thinking broken bones and limbs. Something awful that would threaten his stellar career, not that I want such an eventuality. But it was just cheap sensationalism. Its to the point where they have to cry wolf every single time just to get you to click on something.

I agree Bob(#9)--the media fall all over themselves to be the first to report something but then have to backpeddle later when they find that they've screwed up all the "facts". Of course, they all report that it is "speculation" and that they haven't confirmed anything yet. Well, WHEN they have the FACTS--let me know, otherwise quit making fools out of themselves.

Since when do you break out the back window of an Escalade to get some one out of the vehicle? Perhaps she was swinging before he backed out of the driveway! I don't think all four doors were inoperable from a collision that didn't even set off the airbags.

Air bags in the SUV did not deploy.
Sounds like that was the whole issue right there. If he hits the fire hydrant and the bags deploy, he doesn't whack his head and get cut up. Appears to be a pretty cut and dried lawsuit.

"Laying" is correct. It means reclining in a horizontal position. "Lying" is what happens when you don't tell the truth.
