The Arizona Wildcats' injury woes to the running back position just got worse.

I am very disturbed and sorry to hear about the disgusting behavior displayed by a few of the AZ fans. At the Final Four basketball games in Detroit last April, caps were removed from all bottled beverages sold by the vendors. At the time I was not too pleased about carrying an open bottle to my seat but now understand their policy may have prevented a serious injury caused by a tossed full bottle.

I am a Duck fan and watched the game on TV from home. Arizona is a great team and Oregon is lucky to get out of Tuscon with a W. The Cats are three plays away from being undefeated in the Pack Ten, one at Washington, one with Cal, and one of about six against the Ducks. I couldn't sleep all night because of all the emotions of watching the game. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Good luck to the Cat's; hopefully you will end the season with three wins!!

Oregon has NO CLASS! As a long time season ticket holder I have never see a team that runs the sideline taunting the crowd. This happened anytime they had the lead. Chip Kelly is an arrogant jerk and it has rubbed off on his players.

Nic Grigsby is one tough guy to play with that shoulder. It was real tough luck for Keola to have a stinger. He was ready.
I'm sorry about the Oregon cheerleader, but that is a sign of the times, not necessarily Tucson.
Fumble at goal line; missed easy field goal. We had chances.
I am surprised our cover guys, who are pretty good football players, got caught not looking or by fakes. Masoli and his receivers had NFL accuracy, probably due to limited pressure trying to contain his running.
On the Hansen blog, there was a guy from Akron, Ohio - a great football town who complained about Stoops behavior. I am an Akronite also, and I find it difficult to empathize with Coach Stoops. His manner and poise are foreign to me.

The excuse “signs of the times” is not an acceptable excuse for that happened. This idiot or any idiot that throws stuff at opposing players and teams should spend several years in jail.

Masoli was correct about the conduct of a few knuckleheads, and those people should be found and charged, but he is hardly one to be preaching about how people act. Especially given his criminal history, expulsion in school, and his stay in a correctional facility.

Why in the world is the Star showing a photograph up the cheerleader's uniform in another story (that doesn't allow comments). Outrageous. Certainly there must be another way to depict this unfortunate incident.

"Sign of the times," - I certainly did not mean it was acceptable behavior. I am an Officer of the Court, and believe whoever threw the bottle should be found, prosecuted and given a jail sentence.
I find that today that young people act more on impulse and without thinking of the consequences of their actions. We live in an atomistic society, where rugged individuals live a life of implicit existentialism, i.e., they do what they please.
There is a pervasive deep-seated disrespect for authority - whether it be school teachers, the police, or the federal government.
As I said, it's a sign of the times, not really a reflection of Tucson.

This goes to show what bush league losers the Wildcat fans are. Sure they bounced a cheerleader into the hospital but they also struck several football players from UO with water bottles. They should have never let you bushleagers into the Pac EIGHT

Throwing water bottles is a Pima County tradition going back to April 10, 2006 when Pehdejo Thugs threw water bottles and kicked the snot out of 6 police officers just because we burned a couple of their Buzzard Rags and yelled:
"Viva Zapata. Go back to Mexico and fight your revolution there!"

Al M - you know not what you write of. Yes, there were a few people throwing things, but in most of the cases the real fans around them were making attempts to stop the bad behavior.
You must be a ASU fan and we all know what a kind benevolent reception we will get when we go to Tempe next week.

STOOPS
We have changed the saying for you...
YOU can no longer use BEAR DOWN.
YOU must use BEAT DOWN.
As in BEAT the wholelly molly out of ASU JC.
There is NO BETTER time to be an Arizona Wildcat.
Arizona is beginning a NEW culture , a NEW attitude , a NEW dominance toward ASU.
It will start in a few days and carry over to the other sports.
Yes, the Wildcat Bear Down calling is now the Wildcat BEAT DOWN.
The Wildcat "BEAT DOWN" is coming.
Arizona 42,
ASU 7
