france forges new ties to iraq

Iraqi President Jalal Talabani reviews troops at the Tomb of the Unknown in Paris during his first state visit to France. France laid the groundwork Monday for deeper ties with Iraq, signing two deals aimed at putting French know-how in play in Iraq six years after Paris shunned the U.S.-led war to topple Saddam Hussein.

Not true. France did not come into the war till after England lost the war here.
Half the population of France today is Muslim as they reported in the U.N. two months ago.

Did you see France has a new battle tank? It is a 5-speed model. 1 gear in forward in 4 in reverse.

#3, If not for the US, the French would be speaking German. We've repaid that debt more than once.
