Anyone who knows me knows about my obsession with two legendary actors – Cary Grant and Paul Newman.
I am seriously obsessed and will watch any movie with them in it, and sometimes I wish I was born 50 years earlier than I was so I could have lived through their youth.
Yeah, I’m that crazy.
I read a rumor the other day on one of the many celebrity gossip blogs that I frequent that Paul Newman had terminal cancer. It was denied by his agent. But now it has been confirmed by a close friend of Newman’s that he does have cancer but whether or not it’s been deemed “terminal” wasn’t specified.
Newman has had a successful career in acting, racing and charity. Photos of him at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last month showed him looking thin but Michael Brockman, Newman’s racing team partner, said he’s doing well and has gained back most of the weight he lost.
Newman issued a statement saying he’s “doing nicely” but didn’t mention cancer.
I send my good vibes to Mr. Newman. He is truly a legend and a great man.
And I can’t write about Paul Newman without including photos so here you go…
UGH – it should be illegal.
