Edwards prepares for Sunday's battle against Johnson with a win

I keep talking about the Cup championship like there’s no way Carl Edwards can catch Jimmie Johnson. Am I selling Edwards short?
He followed up his back-to-back Cup wins at Atlanta and Texas the past two weeks with a Nationwide win today.
He’s 106 points behind Johnson with two races to go but he’s definitely got momentum on his side.
It will take a horrible finish tomorrow or next Sunday by Johnson in order for Edwards to catch him but I’m starting to think that maybe it’s not such a far-fetched idea.
And the Cup title isn’t the only championship Edwards is chasing.
He’s now only 56 points behind Clint Bowyer in the Nationwide standings.
You never know.. Hornaday had issues on Friday, though Benson didn’t help his cause.. and then Bowyer had issues today, but rebounded well.. maybe tomorrow Johnson will be the trifecta of points leader issues.
