Caliente Contest
This week's Spotlight focuses on the Austin, Texas-based rock band White Denim, which is scheduled to play Club Congress Saturday.
White Denim's lead singer is James Petralli, whose father is former major league catcher Geno Petralli.
Geno Petralli played 12 seasons for the Rangers and Blue Jays.
Petralli led all of baseball in passed balls with 35 in 1987, 20 in 1988, and 20 in 1990. His 35 passed balls established a Major League single-season record.
Most of Petralli's past balls occurred when he was catching a famous knuckleball pitcher.
For a chance to win an audio book tell us the name of that knuckleballer, who pitched until he was 46 years old.

'American Idol' - It ain't easy being Chikezie

It ain’t easy being Chikezie.
At least not tonight.
The former airport baggage screener got the boot last night as “American Idol” lost one of its more talented contestants.
The good news is his departure gave Syesha Mercado a ticket to the next round. Mercado has the skills to win, but for some reason, the home audience keeps taking her down a peg by putting her in the bottom three.
The bad news is Chikezie was definitely not the worst this week and did not deserve to go home.
David Cook’s rendition of Chris Cornell’s rendition of “Billie Jean” was God awful and while I didn’t think “You’re the Voice” was a terrible song for David Archuleta, I do think he has plenty of time to make it big without the show.
I haven’t been overly impressed with Archuleta. He’s good…but there is room for improvement.
Here’s to hoping one of the more talented of the final nine (I’m looking at you Carly Smithson) wins over the legions of Arhuletites with touchtone phones and texting capabilities.
Chickezie was one of the very best. I dont really like that archeleta guy.He can sing, but he looks so dumb, and always licking his lips.I just dont like to look at him.Amy Davis was the prettiest, and cold really sing great also and from her heart. She should still be there. I think she’s better than any one there now

David Cook’s performance was one of the only entertaining showings AI has ever had.
“God awful” – ?
Do you even have ears?
I keed, I keed.
