Authorities are looking to identify a robber who struck a San Manuel bank Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Bank of the West, 490 Avenue “A,” around noon, according to a news release from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
The man walked in, waited in line and then handed a teller a note that said he had a gun and to give him all the money now, the news release stated. The teller complied and the man left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man, who was wearing a baseball cap, sun glasses, dark jacket, dark jeans and possibly striped shirt, left on foot in an unknown direction, the release said. His clothing was later recovered in San Manuel.
He is described as being between 30 to 40 years old with short brown/reddish hair and brown or blue eyes. He weighs anywhere from 230 to 250 pounds and is between 5’5 and 5’7.
