A 30-year-old North Carolina man was arrested in Sierra Vista Tuesday after the Sierra Vista Police Department SWAT team and special operations bureau found drugs and weapons in his possession, according to a Sierra Vista Police Department press release.

Timothy L. Gunter was booked into Cochise County jail and is facing numerous charges, including forgery, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana and prohibited possession of a firearm, the press release stated.

Gunter was arrested in the 1500 block of East Busby Drive, where authorities found esctasy and marijuana, the press release stated.

He was being held on $100,000 bail.
