Caliente Contest
Last week, Michael Jackson, "The
King of Pop," died after suffering
cardiac arrest. He was 50, and
preparing start a series of
comeback concerts.

Jackson's musical
accomplishments were many,
including the hits "Bad," "Billie
Jean," "Thriller" and "Shake Your
Body (Down to the Ground)." His
1982 album "Thriller" is the
best-selling album of all time.

He collaborated with Paul
McCartney, Quincey Jones, and
his sister, Janet Jackson.

He invented the moonwalk.

And while his behavior later in life
was bizarre, we prefer to focus
on the positives, like Jackson's
music, and his charity work.

In one instance, the two
overlapped. Jackson co-wrote the
charity single "We Are the
World," which was released
worldwide to aid the poor in
Africa and the United States.

Tell us who co-wrote the song for
a chance to win an audio book.

Cheap Enough?: Motley Crue live in Phoenix for $10.

Still Too Fast For Love…And Relevance.

On Monday (July 28), you’ll be able to pick up $10 lawn tickets to see Mötley Crüe and its touring Crüe Fest featuring (enter your own adjectives here) acts Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Sixx:A.M.

The actual show is on Thursday, July 31, at Cricket Wireless Pavilion in Phoenix.

Here’s how Crüe Fest is described on Motley Crue’s official site (Warning: Do not read further if you are eating or value your appetite):

“Prepare yourself for 5 bands, one colossal show and a trail of panties from coast to coast.”

The simple answer to why tickets are so cheap is they aren’t selling. The real answer is to give you lucky ladies a break in these hard economic times for all the undies you’ll be losing at the hands of guys like Vince Neil (pictured above, now new and improved!) Admit it…yeahhhhhh, you know it! Whoooooooo!

The special only runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and is available through the unholy duo of Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

According to a press release, if you pick the tickets up at either the Cricket or Dodge Theatre box offices, there’s no service charges.

Thanks Live Ticket Nation Master!

Of course, if $10 is still too pricey, you can catch the band’s free show online on Aug. 1.
