Greetings all,

Those UA fans without the time/inclination/money to make it to Iowa City this September received a summer treat today: The Arizona-Iowa game will be televised regionally by ABC Sports.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.; the game will be shown EITHER on KGUN-TV (ABC affiliate) or ESPN2, depending on what the networks decide to do with a the USC-Washington game.

The full UA press release is here. Iowa’s is here, if you like that sort of thing. And I know you do.

More coming in the next day or so, including a full recap of Oregon and Washington’s new uniforms. I like one and hate the other. Wanna guess which?

  1. That UA at Iowa game has everything needed to get televised. Glad to see it was picked up.
Should be an interesting backstory regarding Stoops and his playing days there.
And, UA, barring any breakdown against Lefevour and CMU, will be 2-0 going into that game. It’s must see TV.

I also saw on the link on ESPN that the CAL game that day against Minnesota will wind up being a 9:00 a.m. Berkeley start time. That’s going to be a great day to make a sammich and sit in front of the TV all day.

I’m going to take a wild guess and say that those Ducks uni’s are getting a little out of hand.
The UW uni’s barely changed at all….a little sleeker but still classic UW.

Oh well, UA’s ALL REDS are the best in the PAC.
The entire team needs to do like Bondzio did last year and sport those red cleats…….

  2. If UA wins on the road against Iowa, then its a sign they are for real. Will a good game to watch.
