Ryan Finley The Pac-10 Conference’s best player is coming back for another year. USC safety Taylor Mays announced today that he will return for his senior season. Said Mays: “I wanted to leave. I still want to leave, but I just think it would be best for me to stay, the best for my future. … “I can’t say I want to come back so I can take Spanish 2, but I just think it would be best for me in the long run,” he said. “It might affect making a million dollars right now but hopefully in 10 or 20 years I’ll look back on it and be like, ‘That was the right decision.’ “ Good for him. Bad for the rest of the Pac-10. : What's Willie up to? |
Dude! Why can’t SC loose more people early. And if any team should it’s them!

Actually bad for him, as hard as he hits he might get a neck injury, I say go pro make the money don’t risk injury, but thats just me. Good Luck to him.

I haven’t really paid attention, but does SC return a lot? Getting Mays back is huge, but who else are they losing?

Sanchez is leaving

So would you rather see Mays leave or Sanchez leave?
I’m glad it’s turned out this way. As I understand it, SC is losing a substantial number of its defense to draft/graduation. Mays is just one piece. While I know they will just reload at QB, it could leave them vulnerable.
A weak SC could make next year’s PAC very interesting, and give UA a shot, even with our own QB issues to address.
