W.E. O’Neil construction is evidently proud of the work they have done so far on Dove Mountain’s Ritz-Carlton resort.
Proud enough to calculate the number of yards of concrete they have poured, pounds of rebar they placed and feet of cable they laid — and provided additional context for those numbers.
The company sent us a mailing stating these fun facts:
“We placed 1,744,000 pounds of rebar = 872 tons or 2,642,424 linear feet … enough to reach Los Angeles, Calif.”
“We have worked 148,000 man hours = one employee working 71 years.”
“We have poured 13,855 yards of concrete = 71 miles of sidewalk 3-feet wide, enough to reach the edge of Phoenix.”
“We placed 390,000 linear feet of cable = 74 miles, enough to reach the edge of Phoenix.”
We can’t wait to hear how many gallons of paint they purchase …
