Here is a press release we received today about H&M opening a store next year in the Phoenix area. H&M sells lower-priced trendy clothing and focuses largely on urban markets.
“H&M, Hennes & Mauritz, the design-driven clothing retailer known for high fashion style and quality basics at affordable prices, announces its expansion into the southwest region. The newest H&M will open in Scottsdale Quarter, the brand new, fashion-centric, outdoor lifestyle center located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
H&M strongly believes in the Scottsdale market and is proud to be a part of a growing area that attracts upscale, trendsetting consumers. The one-story location will measure approximately 15,000 square-feet and offer discerning shoppers with access to high quality trends and complete looks to dress their own personal style.
The U.S. has been one of H&M’s most important expansion markets since the company’s New York debut eight years ago. There are currently 151 H&M stores in the U.S. and around 1,500 stores in 28 countries around the world.”
