Orbitz has released results from a survey focusing on business traveler interests.
Orbitz says the survey shows that business travelers are still willing to spend money on extra comforts. Also, the survey results showed that most business travelers preferred not to sit next to their bosses.
Here are the findings:
—65 percent of those surveyed say they would pay extra for benefits such as refundable fares, priority/exit row seating and other conveniences.
—40 percent of business travelers surveyed say their company would cover the cost of a seat upgrade of $50 or less at check-in.
—When asked whether they would prefer to sit alone on a flight or sit next to their boss, 58 percent of those surveyed say they would rather sit alone.
—56 percent say their employer places no restrictions on when they book flights for business travel (business hours vs. off business hours).
Maybe they don’t want their bosses to see their pre-flight rituals which is simply their way way of not wanting to experience the earth coming at them at the near speed of sound.
