"Personal warehouses" coming to Tucson

02/29/2008 10:56 AM
Christie Smythe

Got a car collection with nowhere to put it? Neighbors getting on your back about parking your RV on the street?

You can rent a storage space, but soon you will also be able to have one you can call your very own.

Premises Personal Warehouse, a company that has built about a dozen storage condominiums in Colorado, is planning to build one in Tucson. Other companies have also been building similar complexes in Phoenix.

Gary Andros, a local real estate agent who is helping to sell the condos, said the units will start at about 650 square feet. Prices haven’t been determined yet, he said.

The project, which will be located near Tucson International Airport, is expected to be done sometime around September, he said.

  2. Another manifestation of the greed that is plaguing our society.
Just get rid of your crap, or don’t buy what you don’t need.
    Deadbeats galore.

  3. I think this is a great idea. As a contractor I desperately need more space to store my materials and machinary. I’ve seen this product and it’s first rate. Insulated, climate controlled, secure. A much better option than so much of the “run down” warehouse space available here now.
