What would you like to see in the old Macy's spot at Tucson Mall?

It’s fantasy time, Tucson shopaholics.
General Growth Properties announced today it will be tearing down the old, 135,000-square-foot Macy’s store at the mall. (Macy’s will remain in the former Robinsons-May site at the mall).
In a press release, General Growth was cagey about what will go in the cleared-out space. Here’s how they put it:
While we are not quite ready to make formal announcements of new tenants, (mall senior general manager Ted) Newkirk said that, “our customers come first. We expect to attract retailers not available anywhere else in Southern Arizona to enhance the shopping and entertainment experience of our patrons.”
1. H&M
2. Container Store
3. Benetton
4. Illuminations (candle store)
5. Consolidate the two Bath and Body Works already in the mall and open a B&BW flagship store
I don’t go to Tucson Mall much anymore simply because it is too teeny-bopper-ish. With JCrew moving to La Encantada I am sure another teen clothing store will move in.

In-N-Out Burger would give The Star’s business reporters something to do.

IKEA!!!!!!!!!!
And a new parking garage to handle the excessive traffic it would bring to the area!
That would bring some definite life back into Tucson Mall!

Tucson Mall?
Where’s that? :-)
I would go to IKEA though we live on the far East side near Harrison & Speedway.

The Tucson Mall is clean, safe and with a good selection of stores. To make it better:
* The Cheesecake Factory. I’ve been to this restaurant in other cities and it’s always packed.
* Bombay Company. Affordable furniture and decorative stuff.
* IKEA would add a lot of excitement.
