Southwest brings back Oakland-Tucson route

06/27/2007 02:21 PM
Tim Steller

A press release from Southwest Airlines says it will be starting flights between Tucson International Airport and Oakland come November.

Southwest also will add a fourth daily flight between Tucson and San Diego come November.

According to Southwest’s Web site, the new nonstop Oakland flight will depart Tucson at 7:55 a.m. The return will depart Oakland at 6:10 p.m.

People in the newsroom say, and our archives suggest, that Southwest previously flew between Tucson and Oakland. We’re working to confirm that and when the flight ended.

  1. I flew this route for $25 each way 10 years ago when SWA was offering this deal for its 25th birthday. How hard is it to check the clips??
