Did you remember we’re still supposed to be saving whales?

It can be tough to keep track of which environmental cause is in fashion – right now, it’s polar bears and ice caps, I think. It seems whales haven’t been big for more than 20 years. Remember that little “save the rain forest” movement in the 90s? I wonder how that turned out.

True to its retro style, Buffalo Exchange – the Tucson-based used clothing chain – is bringing back a “save the whales” campaign. On Saturday, April 25, proceeds from sale items offered at $1 will go to the Humane Society of the United States’s “Save Whales – Not Whaling” campaign.

Totally awesome.
