Saturday we ran a story about how the tasty and influential restaurant Terra Cotta is closing after 22 years in the business.
The closure is certainly another sign of our tough times — as if we needed another.
Well, Terra Cotta is also facing foreclosure. A notice of trustee’s sale was filed back in November on the building constructed to house the restaurant in 2001, at 3500 E. Sunrise Drive. The sale is scheduled for Feb. 10 at 11:30 a.m.
A lien was also filed against the restaurant’s owners, Don Luria and Donna Nordin, in November by the La Paloma Property Owners Association. The lien is for $3,895.43 in unpaid quarterly fees.
