For a while now there have been plenty of foreclosure prevention workshops out there for troubled homeowners. But here’s something new: workshops teaching beginning bargain hunters the ins and outs of foreclosed home auctions.
In advance of its Dec. 13 foreclosure auction, Rising Tide Auctions is offering “novice auction attendees” a chance to learn the auctioning ropes with 40-minute workshops in Tucson and Gilbert. The workshop is called, “How to Bid at a Foreclosure Auction.”
The Tucson workshop is Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at 3230 S. Mountainaire Drive, a foreclosed property that will be up for bid the following week. Other properties set for auction will also be open for tours that day.
The auction of 114 bank-owned properties is Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix.
