The Avett Brothers return to The Rialto Theatre on Friday, April 23, 2010. General admission/standing room only floor tickets and reserved seating balcony tickets go on sale Thursday, November 12.
My buddies at Paste Magazine (hey Austin! Hey Kate!) love the Avett Brothers, and in particular their newest release, “I and Love and You,” which they called the ninth best album of the decade.
Paste contributor Nick Marino wrote, “For their artistic breakthrough, these North Carolina howlers polished their scruffy Americana sound until it gleamed. The result: an overpowering acoustic album brimming with sadness and soul. “I was worried that I’d start crying while listening at work, but I waited until I got home,” a Paste colleague told me.
