About The Recovery
Organizations

CODAC Behavioral Health Services

CODAC Behavioral Health Services works collaboratively with individuals, families and organizations to eliminate the harmful effects of substance use disorders, mental illness and abuse on their lives and their communities. Mothers Caring About Self (MCAS) is an intensive outpatient, outreach, and case management program designed to serve the needs of pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders, in collaboration with CPSA, Compass Health Care, COPE Behavioral Health, and La Frontera Center. Las Amigas is a residential substance use disorder treatment facility for pregnant and parenting women and their children. Counseling, case management, education and referrals for medical services are offered. www.codac.org

Compass Health Care

Compass Health Care has promoted recovery and wellness for individuals with addictions and related mental illness and their families. Over 10,000 lives are touched annually, providing a full continuum of programs and services for individuals and families of all ages. These programs include: prevention and supportive education for children and youth, acute medical detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient treatment programs, DUI and adult responsibility classes, treatment for incarcerated and recently released individuals, and recovery communities for individuals, single mothers with children, and families. www.compasshc.org

COPE Community Services

COPE Community Services is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of individuals
and our community. COPE serves as a catalyst for recovery through creative, flexible, and caring programs that recognize the rights and dignity of people. The organization has been a leader in creating opportunities and hope for recovery with clinical care that is customer-focused, culturally competent, and responsive to community need. www.copebhs.com

The Haven

The Haven began providing women with a safe, respectful, compassionate treatment environment in which they can begin their long journey of recovery from alcohol and drug-use disorders in 1970. Originally set up to accommodate women with alcohol addiction, it serves primarily women in their 20s and early 30s today who are addicted to methamphetamine and other illegal drugs. Of the 200 women served last year, three-fourths were mothers, and about one third of them were allowed to keep their children with them in residence. www.thehaventucson.org

La Frontera Center

La Frontera Center is a nonprofit community behavioral health agency. It has been helping southern Arizona’s children, youth, and adults since 1968. The agency provides mental health and substance use treatment services at more than 20 locations in Pima County, where more than 15,000 people receive assistance each year. Staff is trained in providing culturally competent care, and approximately one-third are English/Spanish bilingual. www.lafrontera.org
