Yowza! I'll definitely be skipping that one, Robert!! :o)
I'm with you, Mona, Borat cracked me up! I don't understand how he does some of that stuff and keeps a straight face! BTW, I wanna get one of his swimsuits for my husband to wear... NOT!!
Lol Lulu...that is something I was thinking too, how was he able to keep a straight face? And at the rodeo...oh my, how did he pulled that off without getting shot?
The swimsuits....ay ay ay...Robert, was Pamela Anderson in on it or was she also clueless about Borat?
Considering the fact that Kid Rock divorced Pamela Anderson because of her appearance in the film, I'm guessing she was in the dark on Borat.
Thanks for the heads up...wasn't planning on seeing that one, now I can put it on my AVOID AT ALL COSTS list.
You and I have very different taste in movies because I liked Down to Earth. I laughed so much I almost cried. But I skipped Pootie Tang. I think I will see this movie anyway. :-)
I think our taste in movies differs because I picked up Bable. While it was an ok movie it is not something I would see again. I really disliked the ending. I wouldn't call it a bad movie just not my taste. I did love The Departed as much as you did and have already watched it a second time.
You watch and experience movies in a much different way then anyone I have read before. I am finding myself being a little more critical when watching because of your writing so my taste may change as I experience movies in a diffrent way.
On a different note, I spent the weekend helping a friend from Kansas judge and grade 12th grade essays. All I can say after the experience is Robert you have a bright and abundant future ahead of you. I am impressed with your writing. :-)
I agree completely! My husband read a zillion reviews about the movie 300, so I forwarded Robert's review of same to him. He was very impressed with Robert's review..
My favorite movie at the moment is Science of Sleep. It's not for everyone, but the main character reminds me so much of my crazy husband who is always "creating" and "inventing" oddball projects... :o)
Lol...thanks for the heads up Robert!
In other news...I watched Borat yesterday. Oh my, I was hiding my face for some of the shameless stuff he did, I laughed all the way...but my God, what an actor.
Funny that he was speaking Hebrew (not Kazakhi), the Russian letters everywhere. I thought it was quite original, but defininetly, not for kids younger than 18 :-P at least in my house.
