CSI*: Oro Valley - *Collection, Selection, Imagination! is a unique inaugural event for the Oro Valley Public Library. If you’re looking for excitement, mystery, and a chance to uncover the past, then this event is for you. Meet local authors, enjoy programs and activities, have books appraised, watch entertainment, make crafts, and visit the new computer classroom. The Oro Valley Police Department will have various CSI-related equipment, demonstrations & activities. You’ll be able to purchase books directly from the authors or from Borders, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, University of Arizona Press and the Western National Parks Association Store. You’ll also have a chance to purchase food and drink items from El Burrito, Rod’s KC B-B-Que, Domino’s, and Frost. More than 30 authors will participate including Bonnie Marson, Scott Calhoun, Barbara Marriott, Nancy Turner, Barbara Gowan, Jennifer Ward, Jennifer J. Stewart, and Chris Gall. We’ll also be joined by illustrator Guy Porfirio and cartoonist David Fitzsimmons and a special book character! Join in the fun and come dressed as your favorite book or literary figure.
