Mosaic Art Project at GV Library
Anna Griessel 124 weeks ago

This summer you can help the Green Valley Library bring some "desert life" inside to decorate our walls. Using pre-drawn designs of plants, animals and the desert in general, you will use colored tile pieces to design a beautiful Mosaic collage. Award winning, Tucson mosaic artist Robin Riley will assist with the designs and will do all of the grouting. In September, we will hold a celebration to show-off finished masterpiece to the community. The final Mosaic collage will hang proudly in the Green Valley Library for all to see. Three different workdays will be offered. Pick the one that suits you best; June 20, 1-4; July 27, 10-1 and August 12, 1-4. Registration is free, is required and is limited. This intergenerational project is open to children, teens, and adults. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Call 625-8660 and ask for Kate or Karen for more information. The Mosaic Art Project is funded by The Friends of the Green Valley Library.
