Prom weekend sees several violent films available that fall under different genres.

It's Friday the 13th and we don't have a single horror movie being released. Go watch SHS Drama's "Much Ado About Nothing" instead.

If you do in fact love your wife, take her to see something else.

It seems like anything worth watching this weekend is in limited release.

Everything old is new again in 300, director Zack Snyder's version of the brutal Battle of Thermopylae, a film that is outrageously stylish and commendably substantive.

So, that's four for The Departed, three for Pan's Labyrinth, and two each for Dreamgirls and Little Miss Sunshine. The Academy really spread the wealth around this year.
